About Joy Ivana
Hello! I’m Joy Yagi, a graduate of Jakarta International University with a degree in English Literature. I’m currently working as an English teacher at **English First**, one of the largest and most respected language schools. At English First, I teach students aged 3 to 18, helping them build strong foundations in English and develop skills they can use in real-world situations.
Teaching at a company that shares my passion for language and education has been an incredibly rewarding experience. English First's mission aligns closely with my own: to make English accessible, enjoyable, and effective for learners of all ages. This experience has allowed me to work with a diverse range of students and further refine my teaching approach to meet each individual’s needs, whether they are young children just starting out or teenagers preparing for exams.
I’m excited to bring this experience into our lessons together. I believe that every student, regardless of age, can succeed in mastering English with the right support, guidance, and encouragement. My approach is to make learning engaging and tailored to your personal goals, ensuring that you not only improve but truly enjoy the process.
