About Izzy
I’m a Medical Biosciences graduate from Imperial College London with a strong passion for science and education. Having taught myself A-level Chemistry alongside my degree, I understand the challenges students face and the value of personalised, supportive teaching. I want to tutor because I enjoy helping others grow in confidence and reach their academic goals. I am a final-year BSc Medical Biosciences student at Imperial College London with a strong academic background in biology and chemistry. I recently completed A-level Chemistry independently alongside my degree, which has given me first-hand insight into how to plan and structure effective, focused revision. My tutoring approach is personalised and supportive. I begin by understanding the student’s goals and identifying the areas where they need the most help. I then structure each session to target those needs — starting with breaking down key concepts, followed by guided practice using past paper questions to build confidence and exam technique. Lessons are typically 1 to 2 hours, depending on the student’s needs and attention span. I tutor GCSE and A-level students in science subjects, particularly biology, chemistry, and maths. Whether a student is aiming to boost their grades or build a deeper understanding of the subject, I tailor my teaching style to suit their learning preferences.
