About Maya
I completed a 4 year Bachelor's Degree in Political Science in 2.5 years. All the while I was a member of various academic organizations such as Phi Beta Kappa, Sigma Alpha Lambda and Toastmasters International. Additionally, I became certified as a Student Athlete Academic Center (SAAC) tutor for all of the student athletes that attended the university from all over the world. This involved a rigorous vetting and training process because it was crucial for the student athletes to maintain a certain GPA in order to be eligible to play.

Whenever I was younger and struggling to get through specific academic subjects, connecting with someone who was both knowledgeable and passionate made all of the difference. It was later, when I began to excel that I recalled all the lessons of compassion, understanding, patience, curiosity and intelligence that I had learned from both teachers and tutors in years past. Knowledge is everything and in my opinion, there is nothing more fulfilling than helping others on their search to gain more of it.
