I have loved tutoring math online for the past 4 years! I am passionate about helping students understand math since it is commonly a difficult subject that most students dislike. However, my mission is to do away with that stereotype and teach according to each student’s individual learning style.

I like to keep my lessons fun and engaging. Rather than talking at you, I prefer to have my students explain their thought processes as they solve problems so that I can assess where they might need help. Then, I ask guiding questions to lead the student to the correct answer. I have found it is much better for students to come to conclusions themselves in their own personal way instead of explaining topics the same way to every student.
