About Shirley
Hi,
My name is Shirley and I graduate with my bachelors in biology from Case Western Reserve University. Now I am continuing onto dental school at New York University College of Dentistry!
Throughout my high schools years, I worked as a piano instructor to give lessons to children of all different ages. Additionally, through my college experience, I tutored at local middle schools and also worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant in the biology department. Through these experiences, I have learned to work with students of all different ages and needs and how to adapt to each of their learning styles.
Since I am dental student, I understand all the hard work students go through as they need to fulfill their pre-req classes for grad school, so I would be more than happy to help those out! I look forward to meeting you!

I am excited to get to meet new students and work to help them become successful and reach their goals whether it is for school, college, or grad school. I understand each and every students has their different learning styles, so we can work together to adapt a plan that works for the student. Whether it is learning through a more visual way of teaching or what works best for the student! I can teach many subjects in the fields of mathematics, biology, chemistry, and many more. Since I am a dental student at New York University, I have taken the pre-req courses many pre-med, pre-PA, or pre-health students need before going into their respective grad programs.
