About Kurtis
I am a music educator and professional musician in Hong Kong. I graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a degree in music and recently finished a master's degree in music at Berklee College of Music (Valencia Campus). I love different styles of music such as pop, rock, jazz, Latin. I am also a finalist of Thailand International Jazz Conference Composition Competition 2021 and semi-finalist of 5th International Jarek Śmietana Jazz Guitar Competition 2023

Hi! This is Kurtis. I enjoy teaching as much as performing, and I have experience teaching people of different ages and nationalities. I value the musical growth of my students more, such as having a deeper understanding of music theory, nurturing an interest or passion in music and most importantly using music as a creative way to express themselves. I have seen my students showing tremendous improvement in just a few months of lessons and that is the most satisfying part of my teaching jobs. Kurtis is very good, very well organised on each lesson, he is patient on teaching and very encouraging.
