About Mithal Ali
Having taught Economics at all levels for the past 5 years, and having successfully seen many of my students achieve the highest grades and end up attending the best institutions in the world (Oxbridge, LSE, UCL, etc), I have built a strong foundation in tuition. My interest in Economics helps me to break down complex knowledge areas and explain them in terms where they are much easier to understand via examples and implementation in exam questions. I believe in getting stuck into questions and approaching technique as early as possible to familiarise exam format.

I approach my lessons by personalising my approach for each student. I want my students to think and structure problems and the solutions in the framework of the exam, to ensure that they obtain the highest marks possible. A lot of times, it is a matter of implementing the knowledge in the correct frameworks to unlock the higher grades. My approach is to teach these frameworks alongside clarifying and fixing gaps in knowledge.

Mithal has helped my son greatly progress in his GCSE and A level maths. After meeting him through a neighbourhood contact via word of mouth, I am glad I was able to secure him for my son for the past 3 years. In this time my son has improved from achieving 4 in GCSEs and D in A level predicted grade, to 9 achieved in GCSE and A* predicted grade for A levels, I am also glad to state that my son’s confidence has doubled and he has also aided in Economics tutoring which has helped him greatly. He focuses on exam technique and gets to the nuts and bolts of how to perform well in the exam. His lessons are always engaging and he has my highest recommendation.
