About John
I am a patient, friendly, and dedicated Tagalog tutor who believes that learning a language should be enjoyable, practical, and confidence-building. My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether they want to improve their speaking, listening, reading, or writing skills.
I use interactive teaching methods that include real-life conversations, vocabulary building, pronunciation practice, grammar explanations, and engaging exercises. Every lesson is designed to help students communicate naturally while learning about Filipino culture and everyday expressions.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous topics, followed by new vocabulary and grammar. Students then practice through conversations, reading, listening, and writing activities. I provide constructive feedback throughout the lesson and end with a summary and optional practice exercises to reinforce learning.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners of all ages. Whether you are learning Tagalog for travel, work, school, family, or personal interest, I will adapt the lessons to your learning style and pace to help you achieve your goals.
