About John-Nathanael
I am a graduate student attaining a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in English. I also work as an Adult Education and Literacy Instructor whereby I teach students English, math, science, and social studies to help them get their GED. I hope to one day become a professor and teach English literature and the English language to those looking to learn.

I approach teaching from a constructivist perspective, meaning that learning is an active process. I often use differentiation to help teach my students effectively, so each student receives tutoring that is personalized to how they learn effectively.
A typical lesson plan involves asking questions and walking the student through the work while they are actively taking notes, making corrections, or learning new material. If they are learning new material, the student has a chance to practice, learn an application of the material to the real world, and an assessment to check learning. The student is involved in the learning process and provides real-time feedback on how they are doing.
The lessons are for high school through college-aged students who are looking to improve their writing, work on essays, and improve their grammar.
