Currently pursuing a Master’s degree, I stay actively engaged in the subjects I teach, which allows me to offer both depth and clarity in my instruction. Teaching Methods and Techniques
My teaching methods are highly adaptable to the needs of each individual student. Some learners benefit from a hands-on, guided approach, while others prefer to try problems independently before seeking assistance. I take time to understand how each student learns best and adjust my methods accordingly, with the goal of making every session as effective and comfortable as possible.
A Typical Lesson Plan
I come to each session prepared with a selection of problems at varying levels of difficulty to gauge the student’s understanding. A common approach I use is to ask students to walk me through a problem they’ve solved correctly — this not only reinforces their knowledge but also reveals any gaps in understanding. I then build on that by integrating relevant theory in a natural and conversational way. Sessions typically end with guided help on homework, where I offer hints and strategies rather than just answers.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
I bring a unique combination of academic and real-world experience. I've completed advanced high school and undergraduate coursework, worked professionally in engineering, and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree. This allows me to bridge theory with practical application, helping students understand not just how to solve problems, but why the concepts matter — both in the classroom and beyond.
Who My Lessons Are For
I'm confident tutoring students from middle school through early college. Most of my experience is with high school and undergraduate students, especially in mathematics and physics, but I'm also comfortable with chemistry, introductory programming, and general engineering sciences — particularly at the high school level. I'm happy to support younger students as well, adjusting my teaching style to fit their level and goals.
