About Stephanie
Hi I'm Steph, a university graduate of medical sciences with a broad knowledge of maths and science in secondary and further education.
I enjoy inspiring people from all backgrounds, young and not so young about STEM subjects and have experience working with dyslexic and neurodivergent students that might need a tailored approach.
In my free time I enjoy archery, gaming and spoiling my cat.

Bachelors of medical sciences graduate with experience teaching maths and science within a college to all ages of learner - from 15 years old to 70. I specialise in the AQA syllabus for maths and sciences, with further experience teaching entry level and functional skills maths for adult learners.
I use a practical approach to explain abstract concepts, using real-life examples, memory tools and step-by-step approaches to solve difficult questions.
Learning also needs to be fun and relatable. I enjoy tailoring lesson content to student likes/dislikes and career ideals. Want to be a hairdresser? let's make our ratio lesson about mixing hair colour.
Standard lesson length will be 1 hour. More intense 2-hour lessons are available for cram/revision cycles prior to exam time, especially when mixed subject content is required.
In person lessons available for the Warrington/Wigan area within a radius of 15 miles
