About Mikayla
Hi, I’m Mikayla Trujillo-Baxter — and I’m not your average English tutor.
I was born and raised in the Southwest U.S. with deep Mexican roots, and I’ve spent time teaching in Colombia and working with students from all over Latin America. I know what it feels like to be caught between languages — to have the words almost there, but not quite. That’s why I teach with patience, cultural understanding, and real-life connection.
Whether you’re preparing for school, travel, a job interview, or just want to speak with more confidence — I’ll meet you where you are. No shame. No pressure. Just real support, real progress, and a tutor who sees your potential from day one.

Crecí en el suroeste de Estados Unidos, con raíces mexicanas fuertes, y he enseñado inglés en Colombia y trabajado con estudiantes de toda América Latina.
