About Lope
I am currently a Grade 12 IB student. I've always loved math since I was a child, especially mental math. Then everything changed when they added letters to math and suddenly it was like a whole new dimension opened up. I can understand the challenge of Math as I was not always the most attentive student. It is essential for students to have a teacher that sparks a love for the subject and is not focused on just grades but students actually enjoying and understanding the material. I was lucky enough to have teachers who pushed me to do better.

I can break down Mathematical concepts to make them easier to understand. Math can be challenging and I certainly found it difficult during my time learning it but something that always worked for me was to put it into terms I understood using analogies. As a student myself, I can relate with other students and help them improve using tricks and techniques that worked for me. I can teach anywhere from middle school to Grade 11.
The easiest way to improve in math is through constant practice. Drilling homework questions works but it is also necessary for students to receive questions that require them to think outside the box so improving analytical and problem-solving skills is the most important asset.
