About Sahar
I love teaching and the concept of education because I believe that every individual has their own unique strengths and capabilities. My responsibilities as a tutor are to adopt the role of a mentor and enable you or your child to achieve your potential, whether that means multiple ways of explanation and support (as required), but, further, to see you flourish, enabling you to enjoy learning and expand your own curiosities.

Hi! My name is Sahar and I am currently a grade 9 student, studying in the IB MYP program. I am passionate about education and teaching, with experience in tutoring. If you would like to receive to any additional information regarding specific academic achievements (e.g. subject GPAs), please let me know, however, here are some of my awards from the past 18 months, as listed.

My hourly rate is typically flexible (generally $25-50/hr depending on grade level) and hours too! Lessons can be as short as an hour and as long as 3 hours, it is up to you and your comfort! Lessons with me will allow for flexibility and accommodation to the way that YOU learn, meaning, that if YOU need it, we can do it. I make personalised lesson plans and schedule so parents can get a feel for the content being taught and the time that it is predicted to take, interactive lessons to engage students and effectively communicate, practices and exercises, OneNote/PowerPoint/Word and other digital resources, hand-written paper-based notes and more - all of which are always FREE of charge! I also provide equipment for lessons as required, meaning that if we need an exercise book or a pen to practice or take notes, I will always make sure you have one to keep and continue using, to support your academic journey!

Sahar is a great teacher. She is passionate about teaching kids and gives her best effort to make things easy to understand. She makes the learning fun for the students.
