About Ava
I am a student still learning new work and enjoying the high school experience. I love playing the piano and singing, while on the sports side I play hockey and enjoy running. I am an outdoorsy person and feel energized by being around my friends and family. Being in high school, I know how challenging it can be to balance academics, sport and social life, so I would like to help make the academics side a little easier for other students as well, so that their high school experience is even more enjoyable.

Teaching comes very naturally for me. I currently tutor at my school so I have a lot of practice in finding techniques and methods to help students understand and comprehend the work. Since I’m still in school I recently learned the content and so I am still comfortable with it. Still being a student, I can better connect with the students and understand them as we are in the same phase of life offering them someone they can feel comfortable with allowing them to easily ask questions. I am the top academic student in my grade and am very patient and hard-working and will try my best to help my students understand and learn new concepts to succeed in school.
