About Zarah
I’ve just graduated from Durham University and work in events. I connect well with kids and teens and enjoy building a repertoire with my students so that they enjoy their lessons with me. Other than learning pieces for exams, I enjoy introducing pieces that may not necessarily be technically difficult to play for fun (such as film music), so that my student can be exposed to different music genres and figure out what they most enjoy playing.

I would like to make my lessons fun so that my students learn the joy of playing piano like I learnt myself. Even when focusing on exam pieces, I believe it is most important that the piano player feels and embodies the music to ‘perform’ the piece, rather than simply learning the technical aspects of the piece.
I am patient with inexperienced players, and can pace my lessons according to the ability level of my student.
