About Naveen
I'm a pre-med student in the Sophie Davis BS/MD Program at CUNY School of Medicine, one of roughly 70 students selected nationally for a guaranteed 7-year medical track. I currently hold a 4.0 GPA and have over four years of tutoring experience at Bright Leadership Academy, where I worked with students across grade levels on subjects ranging from biology and chemistry to math and standardized test prep.
Beyond academics, I have active clinical experience volunteering in the emergency department at Mount Sinai West and previously at Clove Lakes Rehabilitation Center. I've also served as class president for four consecutive years and founded a STEM enrichment program for underrepresented youth. I bring that same focus and commitment to every tutoring session.

I'm a first-year student in the Sophie Davis BS/MD Program at CUNY School of Medicine, one of roughly 70 students selected nationally for a direct 7-year BS/MD track. I have a 4.0 GPA and 4+ years of tutoring experience covering multiple subjects and grade levels, including NYS Regents, state exams, and specialized high school entrance exams.
My approach is diagnostic first. I identify exactly where the gap is, whether conceptual or test-taking, and build from there. Sessions are structured but flexible, using real-world connections and analogies to make material stick rather than just memorize.
A typical session covers a quick check-in, targeted concept review, worked examples together, and then guided independent practice with real-time feedback.
I work with high school students in biology, chemistry, physics, and math (including AP and Regents), as well as pre-med and college students in gen chem, orgo, and physics.
What sets me apart: I'm actively in the same science pipeline you're trying to enter, and I know exactly what these courses demand.
