About Michelle
As a person, I value honesty. It's a key principle of mine so I don't wish to lie to any of my future students or anybody in general. To tell you all the truth, I don't have any experience being a professional tutor up till now. Sure, I've helped my peers several times but I've never tutored anyone before. I'm hoping to start now to help students achieve their academic goals and make some money while I'm at it. Don't let this about me change your mind about hiring me, my level of experience will never change the amount of time and energy I will put into teaching you. 100% effort at all times! Do give me a chance and I assure you I won't disappoint. Besides, how else could I gain experience if nobody gives me the opportunity?

WhileI may be new to formal tutoring, I have a solid foundation in math (as it is my favorite subject) and a passion for helping others learn. As your future tutor, my approach will be centered on creating a personalized and engaging learning experience for each student. I'll employ a variety of teaching methods and techniques, including interactive activities, visual aids, and real-world applications of concepts, to make learning enjoyable and relatable. This multifaceted approach helps students grasp difficult material while encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson plan for me will begin with a brief review of the previous material a student has learned to reinforce understanding. I then will introduce new concepts through a combination of direct instruction and guided practice, ensuring that students have the opportunity to apply what they've learned. Each lesson concludes with a recap and a set of practice problems to solidify understanding, along with feedback to encourage growth.
What sets me apart as your future tutor is my ability to foster a positive and supportive learning environment. I focus on building students' confidence and encouraging their curiosity, making them active participants in their education. I can adapt my teaching style to suit individual learning preferences, whether a student thrives on hands-on activities, visual learning, or collaborative discussions.
