About Kyra
I have over 3 years of experience teaching programming to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. My expertise includes Python, Java, C++, and JavaScript, along with introductory web development. I believe programming is a skill best learned through practice, so my lessons are always hands-on. I use live coding sessions to explain algorithms, loops, and functions step by step. Debugging is a big part of my teaching, helping students develop problem-solving skills. I believe programming becomes easier when syntax is made simple and clear. My lessons break down coding languages into easy-to-understand steps. I use comparisons, visuals, and examples so that syntax feels less intimidating. Students practice writing small snippets of code before building larger projects. Each exercise reinforces both syntax and logic, ensuring concepts stick. Debugging exercises are included to show how small syntax errors can be fixed systematically. I encourage learners to ask questions and explain their code out loud to build confidence. Each lesson emphasizes clarity and understanding over memorization.
