About Taryn
With over 20+ years of teaching experience and more than 5880 students successfully guided, I have helped learners develop strong guitar abilities and achieve meaningful musical success. My teaching experience includes complete beginners, hobby musicians, aspiring performers, examination candidates, and individuals pursuing advanced musical studies.
Many former students have performed on stage, joined bands, composed original music, earned music qualifications, participated in competitions, and progressed into professional music environments. Their accomplishments highlight the effectiveness of structured learning combined with consistent mentorship and dedicated practice.
I believe guitar is one of the most expressive and accessible instruments for creativity and self-expression. My mission is to help learners build confidence, technical excellence, and a lifelong passion for music while supporting their personal and artistic growth.

Guitar lessons focus on helping learners develop technical skill, musical creativity, and performance confidence through a structured and engaging learning process. Training includes acoustic guitar, electric guitar, rhythm playing, lead guitar techniques, fingerstyle performance, scales, chord progressions, improvisation, songwriting, ear training, music theory, and stage preparation. Lessons are customized according to each learner's musical interests and long-term aspirations.
Students participate in practical playing exercises, rhythm development workshops, improvisation sessions, song-learning projects, technique refinement activities, listening analysis exercises, and guided practice routines. Lessons encourage learners to understand the musical concepts behind their playing while building confidence through regular performance opportunities.
Advanced learners explore solo performance construction, advanced fingerstyle arrangements, composition techniques, recording preparation, live performance skills, improvisational mastery, collaborative music-making, and professional musicianship development. This comprehensive approach helps learners become versatile guitarists capable of performing across multiple genres and settings.
