About Matthew
Hello! My name is Matthew LeBaron. I have been passionate about Spanish since 9th grade, which led to me being a foreign exchange student in Santiago, Chile for my senior year of high school. There I lived with two different Chilean families and attended a local high school.
Aside from my foreign exchange, I have been enrolled in four years of high school Spanish and six semesters of college Spanish. I also pursued a three month volunteer experience in Costa Rica, where I lived with a local family.
I believe my experience learning Spanish as a second language gives me a unique perspective that is valuable when teaching the language, as I understand and can empathize with the learning process.
I look forward to helping you reach your Spanish goals!

I like a student-lead and immersion-based approach, so our sessions focus on what the student needs and I can assist the student where they are needing help the most.
I am charismatic and passionate about language-learning, and I believe helping others discover the real-life application and necessity of Spanish can help create a similar passion for learning.
I tutor for people learning beginner to upper-intermediate Spanish, whether it's for college, high school, or even if you're just wanting to learn in your free time.
