About David
I've been teaching and tutoring for over ten years, combining it with my work as a copywriter, art director, and community organiser. I'm partway through a Masters in Photography at the Royal College of Art, and spend most of my spare time fixing up my houseboat, Jelly Bean.

I have extensive experience tutoring English up to A-level, film and photography to A-level, and exam/essay skills to students of all ages. If you're having trouble with a particular text or skill (the most common culprits are Shakespeare and unseen poerty), I can provide sessions to focus on problem areas.
I've got a strong background in supporting students with special educational needs, first working as an SEN TA, and later as a facillitator with the charity SHP. I'm adept at designing and delivering personalised sessions - so we won't be working our way through the chapters of a revision book, I promise. I have a student-centered approach, with a focus on creating a supportive environment and getting students to work independently.
