About Rebecca
Hello everyone! My name is Rebecca and I'm an undergraduate student based in London.
Dancing is my passion and I've been dancing since I was a kid. I've been taking Latin ballroom classes for 7 years and I'm a licenced Zumba Instructor since 2017.
The coronavirus pandemic has been though on everyone, challenging our emotions and our body as well.
During these though year of lockdown, being stuck at home with nothing else but time to spend eating and studying affected my body and my mind significantly.
Zumba helped me so much. Nothing gave me a boost of energy like a Zumba class with my housemates in the morning and it also helped me feeling healthier and fitter.
Now that the restrictions are finally easing and summer is approaching , we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and Zumba can be a great way to get our body ready for the warm season while keeping the good vibes up.
If you don't know what Zumba is let me introduce it to you: Zumba is an exercise fitness program created in the 1990s which combines latin dances (but not only), aerobics and fitness exercise.
There are four basic rhythms: salsa, reggaeton, merengue and cumbia but I'm personally open to international contaminations.

My Zumba class is 60 min long and is composed of three parts:
1) Warming up - 10 min
2) Zumba routines (the fun part ;) ) - 40 min
3) Cool down and stretching - 10 min
My routines are generally quite up beat but depending on your needs, If you want to focus on cardio, toning or just having a good time, I'm more then happy to adapt to your rhythm.
Don't forget, anyone can do ZUMBA!
