About Georgina
My name is Georgina and I am a seventeen-year-old A-Level student who finished her German A-Level in her first year of college, receiving an A for the course. I love languages and, while being raised in Germany for the first sixteen years of my life, have studied both French and Spanish as well. Over the years, I was tutored in subjects such as maths and chemistry and found I wanted to do the same for subjects I excel in (which were not chemistry and maths) - like German. My passions are reading and writing, which just so happen to fit perfectly into the subject of teaching German - a language which is difficult to understand and learn, which is why I would love to help anyone that needs it with the approach of patience and encouragement.

In my lessons - which are 1h-1.30h long, depending on help needed for student - include reading German books at level of student, as well as watching a film or two in said language for experience in what the native language sounds like. Otherwise, there will be vocabulary tests and practices such as quizzes and translation practices - like translating a paragraph of a text or an entire one - and conversations held in German to improve both the speech and understanding, depending on the level of student. I'm looking to specifically help GCSE students as well as younger ages. Having lived in Germany, I tutored a girl in the English language using such methods and she acquired the grades necessary to pass. Not only do I want this for any potential student, but I want them to love the language and grow passionate in learning it.
