About Rylie
Hi, I’m Rylie! I’m a Bioengineering student at Georgia Tech and have been tutoring math since 2021. Over the years, I’ve worked with students on algebra, geometry, general math and foundational skills, helping them become more confident and comfortable with topics they may have previously found difficult.
I know that math can feel overwhelming when a concept does not immediately click, so I focus on creating a patient, relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I take the time to understand how each student learns best and adjust my explanations and teaching style to suit them.
As a university student in a STEM field, math is a major part of my own education, and I understand both the academic side of the subject and the frustration that can come with learning challenging material. I aim to be reliable, prepared and supportive while helping students improve both their understanding and their confidence.
I am currently based in Limerick and can offer in-person tutoring locally, although online lessons are preferred and provide the greatest flexibility.

I have been tutoring students in math since 2021, with a focus on making difficult topics feel much more manageable and less intimidating. I mainly teach algebra, geometry and general math, and I can also help younger students with elementary and foundational math skills.
My teaching style is very patient and individualized. I like to first figure out exactly where a student is getting stuck, then break the topic down into smaller steps and explain it in a way that makes sense to them. I use worked examples, practice questions and repetition when needed, rather than simply giving students the answer. My goal is for students to understand why a method works so they can confidently solve similar problems on their own.
Lessons are typically around 60 minutes, although I can adapt the length depending on the student’s age, attention span and goals. I can help with homework, exam preparation, catching up on missed material or simply building confidence in math.
I am currently studying Bioengineering at Georgia Tech and have several years of tutoring experience. My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students, including students working on algebra, geometry and other core math topics.
I am currently based in Limerick and can offer in-person lessons locally. However, online tutoring is my preferred option, as it allows for more flexibility and makes scheduling easier for both the student and myself.
