About Sarah
I am a Senior Genetics major at my university. I have been tutoring genetics, microbiology, and general chemistry at my university's Academic Success Center for a year, and have previous experience working as a mathematics tutor for children of all ages and a high school biology tutor. Working at the ASC, I have seen a high returner rate for my students, and success in their academic endeavors. I would love the opportunity to work with you and create the same success!

By teaching through example, I aim to meet you where you are at and build from there. I always start by discussing what you want to work on or are hoping to gain from your tutoring session, and then I help with a practice problem or topic for a few minutes. Lastly, I make sure you can solve a practice problem by yourself and discuss your study habits with you before your session is over so that we can make note of your progress throughout your session, and create a plan for further improvement. I am open to tutoring all ages, as I have experience tutoring high school biology all the way through college level genetics coursework. I specialize in genetics, biochemistry, biology, microbiology, and chemistry, but can also tutor elementary, middle, and high school mathematics.
