About Anna
I completed a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Neuroscience) at the University of Melbourne in 2017 and graduated my Master of Biomedical Science (Vision Science) with first class honours in 2019.
I found a love for tutoring during my university years and have continued throughout my professional life.
I am a recent running convert, completing a 5km and 10km in 2023 and am hoping to complete a half marathon at RunMelbourne 2024.
I live with my fiancé and two rescue animals, Bandit (10 yr old cat) and Alice (6 yr old dog)

Hi my name is Anna and I am research scientist who is very passionate about helping students reach their full potential in maths and science. I have been a tutor for over 7 years and really love working with students and helping them gain more confidence.
Maths and science often present abstract problems that are not found in other subjects. Abstract problems need abstract problem solving skills which is often hard to develop in a class situation. I work with my students to give them the tools to solve problems themselves, build resilience and persistence when it comes to tricky questions and increase their in-class confidence.
I feel very passionately that every student is capable of succeeding in maths and science with the right support.
