About Maria
I am a law graduate currently pursuing a Master of Laws degree at LSE in London, with a strong academic background in both English (King's College London) and law. I completed my Graduate Diploma in Law with a High Commendation (69) and have developed a particular interest in corporate and commercial law.
Before studying law, I earned a degree in English, which strengthened my analytical thinking, writing, and communication skills. These skills are central to my teaching approach, as success in law often depends on the ability to construct clear arguments and express ideas precisely.
Having gone through the law conversion process myself, I understand how demanding and fast-paced the GDL / PGDL can be. I aim to help students break down complex legal concepts, approach cases with confidence, and develop strong exam and essay techniques.
Alongside law, I have a strong interest in literature and writing, and I enjoy helping students improve their academic expression and clarity of thought.

My teaching style is supportive, structured, and interactive. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions freely while developing the clarity and precision expected in legal writing.
I completed my own law conversion with a strong academic result of a High Commendation (69) and understand the challenges of transitioning into legal study. My goal is to help students navigate the material efficiently and build the confidence needed to perform well in their assessments.
