About Bethany
I have a very laid-back and understanding approach to things, and I realise that for many young people, maths can be a tricky concept to grasp. I want to make sure that you go into those exams feeling confident that you’ll absolutely smash those papers! Not only do I want to help you understand the topics that appear on the papers, I want to make you feel confident in the subject as a whole! Whatever learning style works for you personally is how I will teach you. Most school settings will teach every student in the same way, but I understand that some students require a different approach!

I will take as long as you need to help you understand the topics you’re struggling with! I can adapt to meet the learning methods YOU need, especially for someone who struggles with a typical schooling setting. Came out of my GCSEs with a grade 7 despite struggling with an exam type setting, although with my actual classwork, I was working at a grade 8-9. I typically have been stronger with the numbers, ratio and geometry topics of GCSE maths, although I can help with all topics that appear in an AQA paper. Full disclaimer - I am completely unfamiliar with the Edexcel specification so at this time I will only tutor those on the AQA spec.
