About Dila
I am currently a sixth form college student who studies A level subjects including Maths & Physics. I am already a tutor at my old secondary school for Maths, Computing and English, so I have one year of experience. I have achieved five grade 8s, four grade 7s and two grade 6s at GCSE from 11 different subjects. I like to run the tutor sessions by asking what the student needs since I believe lessons are already fully controlled by teachers, and tutor sessions are for what the students want/ need but can’t cover in lessons.

- Explaining content for a specific topic
- Explaining steps on how to first approach a question of that type
- Sharing top tips, or simple shortcuts/ acronyms
- Showing example questions to do together
- Giving practice questions for the student to solve with support if wanted
- Showing past paper exam questions to make sure they are fully ready for exams
If the student is fairly confident with that topic already, we can skip explaining the content and do practice questions. I will run the session in the way the student needs, and whatever will help.
I can also help with homework so they can bring questions they are unsure about.
We can focus on mixed topics, or specific topics depending on their need.
