As a dedicated tutor with over 6 years of experience, I specialise in helping students excel in GCSE Maths and Science—both Higher and Foundation tiers. My approach is results-driven, and I’m proud to have helped 92% of my students achieve or exceed their target grades. ------ Teaching Methodology & Techniques ------- I begin by assessing the student’s current understanding and identifying gaps through diagnostic questions. I then tailor each lesson to suit their learning style—using a mix of: Step-by-step concept breakdowns Visual aids and real-life examples Past paper practice and exam techniques Regular quizzes and spaced repetition for retention I focus on building confidence as much as knowledge, helping students feel prepared and motivated. ----- Lesson Format & Duration. ------ Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, with: 10 mins recap & warm-up 40 mins of structured teaching and practice 10 mins of review, Q&A, and setting targets for next time I also offer flexible timing and homework help between sessions if needed. ------ Who Are My Lessons For? --------- My lessons are ideal for: GCSE students (Year 9–11) Both Foundation and Higher tier Students preparing for exams, needing grade improvement, or aiming for top marks Ages 13–16, or adult learners retaking GCSEs
