About James
I am in my final year of an integrated Master's degree in Mathematics and Physics at the University of Warwick, currently on track for a First Class degree. Across my studies, I have explored a broad range of subjects spanning Physics, Pure Mathematics, and Applied Mathematics.
My Academic Background:
A-Levels: A* in Mathematics and Further Mathematics (with full marks in Further Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, and Mechanics).
Competitions: Competed in the British Mathematical Olympiad and the Senior Team Maths Challenge Final.
Admissions: Prepared for STEP and sat the MAT entrance exam.

Even the most challenging concepts at GCSE, A-Level, and beyond can be broken down into small, digestible ideas. My goal is to make every lesson approachable, engaging, and enjoyable.
Every student learns differently, which is why I tailor my lessons to suit your individual needs—whether you want to excel in exams, build confidence, or craft a competitive university application. I believe that Maths and Physics are not spectator sports; every session features hands-on examples and targeted exercises to put theory into practice.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes, although I am happy to offer longer sessions where appropriate, for instance on a challenging topic or before an exam.
I can support students with GCSE and A-Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics and offer help with University applications and admissions.
