About Sinem
Hello! I'm a friendly and dedicated tutor based in London, currently working full-time in market research after completing a Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship with Distinction. I have a strong academic background, having completed my GCSEs, IGCSEs, and A Levels in subjects including Psychology, Economics, Geography, and English. I’ve always enjoyed school, especially revising and finding creative ways to understand and remember difficult topics. As someone who has recently been through the exam process myself, I know how challenging it can be—but also what works. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence, stay motivated, and reach their full potential. You can expect a calm, patient, and supportive environment where lessons are fully tailored to your needs. My tutoring approach is friendly, patient, and tailored to the individual needs of each student. I believe in breaking down complex ideas into simple, manageable steps and using real-life examples to help students connect with the material—especially in subjects like Psychology, Economics, and Geography. I always start by identifying the student’s current level, goals, and preferred learning style. From there, I create a personalised plan that may include: Recapping key content Active recall and memory techniques (e.g., flashcards, quizzes) Practice questions and essay planning Explaining concepts in different ways until they click Regular check-ins to track progress Lessons are usually 60 minutes long, but I can be flexible depending on the student’s needs and concentration level. I’ve completed IGCSEs, GCSEs, and A Levels in Psychology, Economics, Geography, English, and more, and achieved a Distinction in a Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship while working full time in market research. I also have experience informally supporting classmates and younger students with revision and exam prep. My lessons are ideal for GCSE and A-Level students aged 13–18. Whether you're aiming for top grades or just trying to catch up, I’ll work with you at your pace to help you feel more confident and prepared.
