About Rebecca
I am currently studying Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at UCL, after achieving A* in A-Level Mathematics. At the start of my A-Level journey, I scored 42% in my first Maths assessment. Through consistent practice, exam technique, and learning how to break problems down properly, I went on to achieve 96% in the final exams. Because I’ve experienced that improvement myself, I understand where students can get stuck and how to move past those barriers. My teaching style is calm, patient, and focused on building confidence through clarity and repetition. I genuinely believe that with the right approach, anyone can excel in Maths, and my goal is to help students learn the methods and mindset to do exactly that. I am a first-year Robotics and Artificial Intelligence student at University College London, with a strong academic background in Mathematics at A* level.

I offer supportive and structured GCSE and A-Level Maths lessons tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on building strong core understanding first, then developing confidence through guided practice and exam-style questions. I break topics down into simple steps and encourage students to explain their reasoning, as this helps make concepts stick. Lessons are usually 1 hour, but can be extended during exam season. I am currently studying Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at UCL and achieved top grades in Maths and Further Maths. My lessons are suitable for students from Year 9 to Year 13, whether they are aiming to boost confidence, improve grades, or work towards top-level results.
