About Elise
I am Elise, a contemporary Fine Art practitioner and educator offering inspiring, research-led tuition in GCSE and A-Level Fine Art. My teaching is rooted in strong foundations of art-making while encouraging cutting-edge, experimental and informed practice.
I aim to build confidence and independent thinking through drawing, painting, and installation, guiding students to develop rigorous sketchbooks, meaningful visual research, and resolved outcomes. My approach balances technical skill-building with critical understanding, ensuring students meet assessment criteria while developing their own artistic voice.
I am a Fine Art graduate from Slade School of Fine Art and a postgraduate qualified Art teacher from University of Cambridge. I am also an active contemporary artist working across oil painting, drawing, and installation.
My teaching is suitable for GCSE and A-Level students aged 12–18, as well as emerging artists seeking to refine their practice and strengthen their portfolio development.

Informal, supportive tutoring focused on GCSE & A-Level Fine Art criteria and grading requirements, helping students meet assessment objectives while developing individual creativity and confidence. Lessons are 45–90 minutes depending on student needs.
I am a Fine Art graduate from Slade School of Fine Art and a postgraduate qualified Art teacher from University of Cambridge. I am also a long-term contemporary artist and practitioner working in oil painting, drawing, and installation.
My lessons are suitable for students aged 12–18 studying GCSE or A-Level Fine Art, as well as emerging artists seeking to strengthen technical skills, develop portfolios, and deepen their creative practice.
