My name is Xan, I'm a student in London. Having learnt many languages myself and living abroad, I can understand the importance of knowing another language, especially English. I am very passionate about the English language and would like to help others enjoy it too!

About the lesson

Depending on the current ability of the student, we will start with the alphabet then move onto forming whole words and then sentences and in each lesson we will look at grammar as well. Lessons will be an hour long, perhaps twice a week. I am currently teaching Japanese as a foreign language and have been very successful in doing so. I am a native English speaker and have a grade 9 in GCSE English literature and language. My lessons are primarily for beginners or those who want to practice pronunciation, of course the way I present the lesson would differ based on age group, for kids it would be broken up into oversimplified chunks and taught in a fun and engaging way but for more mature students it would be taught more rigorously.
