About Kai
I am currently in my second year studying Maths at Oxford. I strongly believe that maths is a skill that can be learnt, and through my teaching experience, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative impact it can have on students' understanding and confidence. I have spent a year teaching small group intervention classes for A-level Maths students at a school. In addition to my classroom experience, I have also worked as an online and in-person maths tutor for GCSE and A-level students as well as mentoring aspiring Oxbridge applicants. I am committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring mathematical concepts at their own pace.

My lessons usually consist of using exam-style questions as a springboard for further consolidation and exploration. I endeavour to give my students depth in their understanding as I believe once you fully understand a concept you will never forget it. In my tutoring sessions, I do not follow a rigid lesson structure because I believe that every student is unique and has different needs. Instead, I adapt my teaching style and lesson plan to accommodate the individual learning style and pace of each student.
