About Sulaiman
I have been tutoring privately for 4 years, working with students from ages 13-18 (year 9-year 13). I have specialised in teaching Maths (A*), Chemistry (A) and Economics (A*), as these were my A-levels and tutored groups of up to 5 students. I have worked in secondary schools in my borough as well as hosting intervention sessions within my sixth form for my colleagues. I am familiar with the new 9-1 grading scheme as well as the new syllabus for both GCSE and A-Level. I am very easy to work with and always try as hard as required to ensure students understand each and every concept. During my tutoring experience, all of my tutees have shown great academic progression, unveiling their potential and increasing confidence.

I aim to prepare students for exams using structured lessons, beginning with an engaging starter, consisting of "warm-up" questions and Q&A-style to ensure continuous and elaborate review of previous topics. This is then followed by the main part of the session where we would tackle new content using methods best suited for each individual. Lessons will end with summary questions to conclude what was learnt. I will also provide additional resources for students to work on at home during the week. As a Tutor, I expect and encourage students to bring topics or questions they struggle with, so we can work on them together and eliminate any weaknesses.

Perfect! Sulaiman is an amazing tutor who can explain concepts which are really difficult in A Level maths, really quickly and more in-depth than other teachers. He is also very flexible even supporting you outside of lessons. Highly recommend
