About Adam
I’m an undergraduate student at Durham University studying Theoretical Physics. I recently completed my A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry, achieving 4 A*, including 96% in Further Maths. I’ve got experience in tutoring GCSE Maths students at my school, and have a passion for problem solving and using maths analytically. In my spare time I enjoy golf and play the flute.

First I start by asking what you need from me, e.g. if you want to look at certain topics or to review a question you did recently.
I’ll start by talking over the maths required by the exam specification for the topic, showing basic ideas with examples and analogies. Then I’ll complete and talk through a model answer with you, ensuring maximum detail and showing all different methods you could use.
I’ll guide students through the next question, prompting them when required and keeping them on track. I’ll review thoroughly with mark schemes, answering any questions you have throughout, then repeating this process until the student is comfortable to tackle questions on their own. I’ll provide a small question pack for them to complete before the next session.
