About Annika
Hi, I'm Annika! I'm a Computer Science student with a lifelong passion for technology, programming and artificial intelligence. I started coding when I was seven years old, and since then I've built websites, developed software projects, explored AI, and taken every opportunity to expand my knowledge.
Alongside my studies, I've run coding clubs, mentored younger students and served as Head Girl, experiences that have strengthened my communication and leadership skills. I genuinely enjoy helping people overcome challenges and watching their confidence grow.
Having recently completed GCSEs and A Levels myself, I understand the current curriculum, the pressure of exams, and the techniques that really make a difference. I know what it's like to feel stuck on a topic, so I always aim to explain concepts clearly and patiently until they click.
Outside of Computer Science, I enjoy keeping up with the latest developments in AI, attending technology events and working on personal programming projects. Whether you're hoping to improve your grades, learn Python, or simply become more confident with Computer Science, I'd love to help you achieve your goals.

Every lesson is tailored to the individual student, because everyone learns differently. Before we begin, we'll discuss your goals, identify any areas you find challenging, and create a plan to help you make steady progress.
My teaching style is patient, supportive and interactive. I believe students learn best by understanding *why* something works, rather than simply memorising the answer. I use clear explanations, worked examples, exam-style questions and practical programming exercises to build confidence and develop strong problem-solving skills.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although shorter or longer sessions can be arranged if needed. I teach GCSE Computer Science, A Level Computer Science and Python programming, whether you're aiming for top grades, catching up on missed content or learning to code from scratch.
As a Computer Science student, coding club leader and former Head Girl, I have experience explaining complex ideas in an approachable way and supporting students of different abilities. Having recently completed my own GCSEs and A Levels, I understand the current specifications, common mistakes and exam techniques that make the biggest difference.
My goal is to create a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, enjoy learning, and leave every lesson feeling more confident than when you arrived.
