About Penelope
I am not a qualified teacher nor do I plan on getting a qualification for teaching because of various reasons. Be that as it may I do have a bit of experience when it comes to teaching and tutoring because during the course of the year I was tutoring my street mates and helping my niece (who's in grade 3) with her homework everyday.
And like I have previously mentioned I know the struggles of a learner personally, not by reading books or research. I will be able to help by sharing some of my experiences with you and once you see how alike we are you might get convinced and motivated that if I did it so can you. And as the late Nelson Mandela said "It always seems impossible until it's done" we can get through whatever hurdle only if you are willing to put in the effort because "where there's a will, there's a way". Optimism is a good trait to possess which is one of the things I'm known for.

I know first hand how difficult and taxing studying can be because I have been a student myself. I know a few tricks to make studying and learning worthwhile and fun.
I am fluent in two languages namely IsiZulu and English and I can teach in both. Everything I teach would be based or dependent rather on the topic in which we will be doing. Say we are learning about verbs, instead of just diving right in we could start by reminding ourselves what they are. From there we can make our own sentences and identify the verbs before we can proceed with the work at hand. I understand that no man is the same meaning you will be the one to determine the pace in which we move.
My lessons are aimed at primary to secondary school learners for I have that much knowledge and nothing that surpasses that.
