About Veryan
I've just finished school and I'm taking a gap year before starting university, which means my own GCSE and A-Level experience is still fresh. I know first-hand how overwhelming these exams can feel, and I understand both the content and the pressure that comes with it. I'm patient, easy to talk to, and I get a real kick out of watching a student go from confused to confident on a topic. My goal is to make lessons feel supportive rather than stressful, while helping you build the skills and confidence to hit the grades you're aiming for. Outside of tutoring, I'm a keen trampolinist, skier, and mountain biker, and I'm always up for a chat about football if that's your thing too!

I've always enjoyed helping others understand maths in a way that clicks for them. My approach is patient and example-led: breaking problems into clear steps, checking understanding as we go, and practising exam-style questions to build real confidence. Lessons run 45–60 minutes and are tailored to your exam board (AQA, Edexcel, OCR). I work with GCSE students at any level, from those consolidating a grade 4–5 to those aiming for the top grades, with flexible scheduling around school and revision.
