About Rebekah
I have an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, a postgraduate degree (level 7) in Employment Law, a master's in Law and a distinction in Access to Medicine. I am an HR manager and volunteer copywriter for a charity. With a previous career in working with those with addiction issues, I am a pre-med applicant with a view to becoming a substance misuse psychiatrist. I have a strong understanding of learning disabilities and personally have a diagnosis of ‘severe combined ADHD’. I would like to help similar students reach their potential and increase their confidence. I firmly believe anyone can overcome their circumstances given the right opportunities and support and I would love to see an increase in diversity in medicine applicants. Let me share with you my simplified approach to section 2 essays. I combined the best advice I found after in-depth research across many popular avenues and simplified this into an easy-to-follow structure. I have a relaxed, patient and non-judgemental approach when tutoring. I also have experience in maths and English literature tutoring, specifically for GCSE. I have an A* in these subjects and recent tutor experience.
