About Owen
I’m a future Computer Science student at the University of Warwick (starting in 2026) with strong academic results and a passion for Maths and Science. I achieved seven grade 9s at GCSE, including Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Further Maths, and achieved A* in Maths, A in Physics and Chemistry, and B in Further Maths at A Level. I’ve also excelled in national academic competitions, earning Gold awards in the Senior Maths Challenge, BPhO Computational Challenge, and C3L6. I aim to help students not only master the material but also recognise the underlying patterns and ideas that make it all connect. Whether you want to solidify your foundations, boost exam performance, or explore more challenging problems, I’ll tailor each session to your goals and learning style.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs. I start by identifying areas of strength and topics that need more focus, then create a clear plan to build understanding and confidence. I emphasise not just memorising formulae or methods, but understanding the reasons behind them, helping students tackle unfamiliar exam questions with confidence, by using worked examples, exam-style problems, and step-by-step reasoning. I’m always happy to answer questions between lessons or provide additional resources.
