About Swathi
Hello! I'm a passionate English tutor dedicated to helping children develop strong reading, pronunciation, and communication skills through engaging Phonics and Spoken English lessons.
I believe every child learns differently, so I tailor my teaching approach to match each student's pace, learning style, and goals. My lessons are interactive, patient, and enjoyable, using stories, games, visual aids, and conversation practice to make learning English fun and effective. My aim is to build not only language skills but also the confidence to read aloud, communicate clearly, and express ideas with ease.
With a professional background in project management and experience working with global teams, I bring excellent communication, organization, and mentoring skills to every lesson. My approach to tutoring is student-centered, interactive, and focused on building confidence through consistent practice. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in lessons.
For Phonics and Spoken English classes, I use a structured methodology that combines sound recognition, pronunciation practice, vocabulary building, reading exercises, and conversational activities. Younger learners are taught through engaging games, stories, visual aids, and interactive exercises, while older students focus on communication skills, grammar, pronunciation, fluency, and real-life speaking scenarios. A typical lesson lasts 45 to 60 minutes and includes a combination of revision, concept introduction, guided practice, interactive activities, and homework or follow-up exercises to reinforce learning.
