About Wayne
Hi! My name is Wayne and I'm currently studying Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE).
I have had many years of tutoring experience, from Primary School all the way up to Sixth Form level and I am here to help you absolutely ACE your exams. I recently participated in the Teach First Summer Insight programme where I taught Maths in a primary school and was commended for my excellent teaching skills in the classroom, I am able to explain difficult concepts in a clear, patient manner to help all levels of students overcome their challenges!
I have 5 A Levels all at A*-A grade, including Maths, Economics, History. I also have 14 A*s at GCSE Level.
I love playing sports, and also play the guitar and piano to a high standard - our lessons will definitely be enjoyable as well as insightful and helpful at the same time!

I believe the best way for a student to learn is in a way which they find enjoyable, therefore I tailor all my sessions to individual styles and needs. Be it running through exam questions, explaining challenging concepts step by step, running through worked examples, I am happy to help!
My teaching style is very structured and interactive, helping students to understand the more straightforward concepts first before moving on to more complex questions. Throughout, I love asking questions during tutoring sessions to make sure that the student is always engaged and will allow for enough time to run through practice/exam questions as well. The key is to ensure that students understand the methodology behind each question, so that in exam conditions, even if the style of question changes they will be able to answer it.
I always make sure my lessons are fun and engaging so that the student enjoys themselves as well as being able to learn and get ready to ACE those exams!
