About Catherine
English can be a fun and advantageous language to learn!
- I am currently studying a Bachelor of Applied Social Science's with a major in Educational Psychology and also hold a 120 hour TEFL course certificate. I have been teaching english to students from all over the world for over 5 years and also have over 10 years of experience teaching ballet and au pairing children from 3 - 18. I absolutely adore children and have a bubbly, outgoing and creative personality.
- English is the Language of International Communication. Although English is not the most spoken language in the world, it is the official language in 53 countries and is spoken as a first language by around 400 million people worldwide. But that's not all, it is also the most common second language in the world. Therefore English is a very important language that I believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn.

In my classes I make use of either slides or books that cover a particular syllabus that is designed for the student and their ability/level. I take care in ensuring that all my students build a strong foundation first. I also integrate videos into my classes to help my students better understand terms or new words, help them focus and keep their energy levels up, and to make the lesson more fun and entertaining. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, wanting to learn new words, grammar or practice reading and writing I have a course designed for you!
