About Hanna
12 years ago, I taught my husband how to speak English, and have been tutoring him ever since. As a result, he has gone on to become a professional web developer, a field which requires advanced knowledge of the English language. I have one year of professional tutoring experience, and also have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certificate, which I completed with merit. I obtained a bachelor's degree in International Studies from the University of Southern Maine, and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.92 GPA.

Hi, I'm Hanna. I am a native English speaker who loves teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) speakers how to have fun with English. My approach entails finding out about your goals as a student, your interests as a person, and figuring out which teaching methods will help you learn best.
In addition to private tutoring, my students will learn about technological and other resources which they can use to learn own their own. I prefer to empower students to take learning into their own hands, rather than relying solely on teachers.
