About Stefanos
I'm a guitar tutor who knows what it’s like to start from scratch and how to push through plateaus. I’ve been playing guitar seriously for over 6 years, and it’s become one of the most important parts of my life. Though I hold a Computer Science degree from the University of Bristol, music has always been where I feel most at home: from rock and metal to jazz, classical, and everything in between. Over the years, I’ve helped multiple friends and classmates pick up the guitar for the first time or break through barriers in their playing. That’s when I realized I love teaching. Now I’m bringing that same energy to students worldwide, focusing on what really matters: playing music you actually enjoy, understanding how it works, and growing your skills in a way that feels motivating, not rigid. I teach both acoustic and electric guitar and specialize in helping beginners and intermediate players build confidence, improve technique, and develop their own unique style.

Whether you're just starting out or building on existing skills, I’m here to help you grow in the direction you want with structure, encouragement, and zero judgment.
My lessons are for beginners and intermediate guitar players who want to improve in a relaxed, personalized way, without getting lost in rigid, old-school methods.
Whether you're starting from scratch or looking to push past a plateau, each session is tailored to your goals, style, and pace. With most students we focus on playing real music, while weaving in the technique, theory, and creative tools needed to truly improve. From rhythm and fingerpicking to soloing, improvisation, and understanding how music works, we’ll develop the skills that matter for your sound.
A typical lesson balances structure with freedom. We might break down a song you love, introduce a technique that fits your level, or explore phrasing, dynamics, or improvisation — whatever best supports your musical growth. The content and pace always adapt to your goals, with a clear focus on helping you move toward the kind of player you want to become. Theory is included only as much as you want it, and you’ll always leave each session knowing exactly what to practice and why it matters.
Lessons are available for acoustic and electric players, online. First lesson is always free. We’ll get to know each other, talk goals, and start exploring music.
