About Elizabeth
I have been studying and learning the French language for 17 years. I have also been teaching French for 8 years, mostly at the high school and university levels. I have a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in French as well as an official teaching certification for French language from kindergarten to 12th grade, and an endorsement in Advanced Placement French. In my 8 years, I've helped hundreds of students develop an appreciation for the French language and culture, and have helped many attain fluency.

Learning a language is supposed to be fun! I like to employ an immersive method of instruction, where students are exposed to target language use in their very first lesson. I love to use different types of activities and resources to help students learn and retain the fundamentals of the language in a fun and engaging way. I make sure my students understand the material without making them feel overwhelmed, nervous, or confused. I want all of my students to be comfortable with me and with the material!
